Dior: Candy Choc

There are certain things that catch your eye only to be looked at and never to be bought. That’s what I thought when I saw this palette. Falshy bright colors, soft texture – very nice to look at. But wear it? Then I swatched it… And now I have it 🙂

The colors are meant to be used solo, I guess, as all of them have different characteristics. The white is a satiny soft shade with silver sparkles that nevertheless does not look cold or pearly.  The mint green shade is matt as well as the lemon-yellow shade.  They are very blendable and need to be used with a base to have a good color payoff. My personal favorite is the satiny peach shade with the fine-ground rosy shimmer. This same shimmer is also observed in the rosy shade making the color deeper and brighter.

Summer5 I have prepared two looks with the peach-rose and with  yellow-green shades. The white was used in the inner corners and under the eye brows in both looks. The peach and yellow was applied on the whole eyelid, the rosy and green shades being used in the crease and outer corners.
